Trigger Speeed Challenge

Trigger Speed Challenge

Cuddeback's trigger speed is legendary and you can win a Cuddeback by proving it to yourself.

Set up your scouting camera, Cuddeback or any other brand and, at a steady walking pace, walk past the camera at a distance of about ten feet. Then, send us the images and tell us the story behind your Cuddeback Trigger Speed Challenge photo(s).
We will select one entry per month to receive a FREE Cuddeback Attack based on the photo and story.

To compare the trigger speed of some of my cameras, I set up one of my Cuddeback cameras and one Moultrie and walked past them. As you can see, the Cuddeback picture was perfectly centered and the Moultrie almost missed me. The last one caught this coyote running full-speed through the frame. Thanks for some great pictures! I wanted to test out the trigger speed of my Cuddeback Capture vs. 4 other cameras. I set them up on the deck at the same height and then walked in front of them at a steady pace. The results were indisputable. Every picture from the Cuddeback was almost exactly in the same spot. The other two photos are from a Bushnell and a Wildgame Innovations. Needless to say Cuddeback won and took one every time with me right in the center of the frame. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

I wanted to test my cameras ability to take pictures when its below freezing outside. It was in the 20's when I set a Cuddeback Attack IR and a Leaf River IR on a post and left. I came back a week later with a sign and walked in front of them and another Cuddeback Attack. We had just got alot of snow and the temperature was in the mid-teens. I pulled the memory cards and checked them to see if the cameras took any pictures. The Cuddebacks took almost instant pictures of me, while the Leaf River took a picture of nothing. During the week I had several images of deer, turkey, small birds, and even some fox on the Cuddebacks. I only had 3 pictures of deer and nothing else with the Leaf River. I know now that I can keep my Cuddebacks up during the hot summer days, to the cold winter nights. Thanks Cuddeback!!! (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

The other brand of camera we had been using for the last two years had slow trigger speed and got us a lot of partial deer pictures. We bought a new Cuddeback Attack in January of 2012 and our first batch of pictures had lots of deer perfectly centered and also caught this rabbit in mid-flight. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

Set my camera up to see what was traveling my path and then, a couple weeks later, switched and put my buddy's Cuddeback up on the same tree. With my camera, I almost missed a nice buck and would've missed this coyote if he hadn't stopped. The Cuddeback, however, got this gray fox trotting by center frame. Wish I could show you the other nice pics the Cuddeback took. Thanks Cuddeback! (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

Another Moultrie miss. We have a couple of Moultrie cameras set out to see what we have in the woods we hunt. This is an example of slow trigger speed that we experience alot with these cameras. Still wondering what we have in these pics as well as in the woods. Wish we could afford a Cuddeback like my brother-in-laws have out in their woods. Least they know what type of deer are in their woods. Guess I need to save up and bite the "bullet" and buy the new Cuddeback. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

After failed scouting attempts using my old camera, I decided to invest in a Cuddeback this summer. My scouting this year went perfect! Cuddeback's great battery life made one set of batteries last all summer and its phenomenal trigger speed never missed a picture! The first 2 pictures prove this, by capturing deer that are running FULL SPEED! This is compared to my old camera, which couldn't get a picture of a deer when it was 3 ft away from the camera. This shows that if you haven't bought a Cuddeback, you are missing out! I am already thinking about getting another one! (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

The first picture is from a stealth cam that I bought, and as you can see it's a big deer, but because of the slow trigger speed I'm not able to tell how big the buck actually is. The second photo is from a Wildview that missed the deer altogether, and the third photo is from a Wildgame Nation but the infrared is so bad that all you see is a white photo instead of a deer. I'm now buying a Cuddeback so I'll have at least one camera that does what it’s supposed to and that gets good pictures of deer. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

As a first time user of game cameras, the cuddeback was what was recommended to me. I was a little hesitant about the price but I didnt realize what I was getting until the very first week I put out my cameras! I bought a cuddeback and a hunten outdoors camera for the price. Needless to say I was impressed! The cuddeback was easy to use, took a thousand times better pictures and not one picture of an empty game trail! The hunten outdoors camera gave me 367 pictures of just an open meadow with no deer. And sucked half the battery life in just two days! Talk about a money maker for someone! But I did however catch several deer moving through at high rate of speed! A young fawn trying to catch mom and probably a two year old buck leaving dust trails! (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

Thinking of getting the new model soon.I am in a bow club that has 140 members and I promote this product often, about half of our members use cameras. (PHOTO 1 OF 4)

The first pic was taken with my Moultrie game camera cause I could not afford to buy the Cuddeback, so I had to get a Moultrie. As you can tell, I should of just waited, bought a Cuddeback and saved the money. Every pic was either blank or half the body was gone and it had this slight tint of red for some reason. So about 2 or 3 weeks whent by, I saved enough money for a Cuddeback, and I have not had any problems with them yet. I now have 3 Cuddeback Capture IRs and every picture is perfectly centered unlike the Moultrie. So thanks Cuddeback for making such a great camera. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

I got my Cuddeback for my birthday a few years ago, I was very pleased with the pictures. I heard about the IR technology and wanted to get one, so i went out and bought a primos truth cam 60. As you can see in the photos half the deer are missing and the IR only went out about 15ft. It also had very low picture quility. In my Cuddeback photos, as you can see, the whole deer , center subject technology, and the picture was as clear as it could be. Both cameras were set up just across from one another in this test. Im never going to buy anything else but a Cuddeback again. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

When I first started using a trail camera I could not afford a Cuddeback, so I decided to go with the competitor's camera. These are pictures from the past two seasons. As you can see this camera has terrible trigger speed and bad picture quality. On the first picture you can't even see the head. The deer is practically touching the camera but it failed at catching the deer. On the second picture the quality is so bad you can't tell what the deer are. Third picture tells the story itself, BAD TRIGGER SPEED! In the future I hope to get a Cuddeback, because I know it will fix my problems. Hopefully I can post some good pictures on the website. I had previously bought a competitors camera that took horrible pictures. Most of them were of the deer's backside. The trigger speed was incredibly slow, it clunked when it took a picture, its pictures were discolored, and it seized up and quit working one day. I decided to quit messing around with cheap cameras and go to the cameras I have heard so much about, the CuddeBack brand. I have had this camera for about 9 months and I am never going back to any other brand. The Capture has incredibly crisp day and nighttime photos and trigger speed that you would not believe. I have not gotten the butt of an animal yet, they are all in the center of the image, and it has taken over 1,000 images to date. Plus, the camera is so quiet it never spooks a deer which helps catch those animals in the center of the image. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

I set up a Cuddeback Capture directly next to a Competitors camera because I had been getting a lot of blank pictures with the Competitors camera. The first picture is with the Cuddeback and it took the picture fast and let me see this buck. The second picture is with the Competitors camera and the buck is further out and the picture quality is far inferior. The Capture is much faster and better picture quality. The third picture is a picture of this same buck that the Cuddeback took that the Competitors camera did NOT even have on it. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

I am from central Missouri and have been using game cameras for about two years now. Between my father-in-law and myself, we have four competitor cameras. The first year we where very happy with the results but as time has gone on we realized how many deer we where only seeing the back half of and not knowing what the front half is. The attached photos are all about trigger speed. The first is one of me driving by on my Gator and only getting the back third of the machine. You can see in the second photo from the dust cloud, how close the deer where at one point and when the camera finally took a picture you cant tell if there is even headgear. In the third photo I almost passed up the deer in the far left corner, since its so small because the camera didn't take until it was almost too late. After zooming in with a photo editing software it looks like a pretty good deer. My father-in-law and I have decided you need to skip the photo editing software and get a CUDDEBACK!! (PHOTO 1 OF 3)

(PHOTO 2 OF 3)

I'm 16 and decided to get a trail camera to see what I had running around our farm. I decided to go with a [competitive camera] because I could afford it and thought it would work really good. Well I now wish I would have saved up a little more and got a Cuddeback. I've got some good bucks running around but the pics I have of them are definately not the quality pics of a Cuddeback. If your new to getting a trail camera I suggest saving a little more and get a Cuddeback. (PHOTO 1 OF 3)
